Plans Underway for the 2012 Challenge

The Le Tournoi calendar is not just about the soccer any longer and planning for all our events starts up to a year in advance for a number of activities.

The 12th annual Soccer Challenge will take place over the weekend of 30th June and 1st July. Having welcomed around 1,100 players in 2011 we are aiming to max out on all age groups this time round and could cater for up to 2,000 players which would make us one of the biggest tournaments in the whole of the United Kingdom!

The only soccer event to cater for all ages and abilities, everyone is welcome to participate - it is a truly great weekend and has raised well over £100,000 for good causes since it all began in 2001.

Formal entry forms will be required for the Mens Challenge only and will be available here from mid-May. For Veterans, Ladies and Minis Challenges, entry will be more informal.

If you have a few hours spare and would like to help out with the soccer or any of our events, please mail admin@letournoi.org or call Andy Le Seelleur on 07797 758338 - we will never ask for more than you are happy to give and we have so much opportunity to make an even bigger difference if we had a few more helping hands. Alternatively, if your work operates a CSR scheme for getting involved in a charity or community initiative then please think of us and nominate Le Tournoi in 2012.
