What an outstanding “Le Tournoi” that was! Many congratulations to you, to Andy and to Bob on planning, organising and running one of the truly great events in Jersey’s charity programme. I am in no doubt that all those who had the good fortune to participate today will have had a thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding day. Certainly Sam and I felt very privileged to be invited to be part of the action once again. A special thank you also to all the sponsors and particularly to Peter and John who, in addition to their generous sponsorship, also battled for your team. Finally Sam joins me in thanking you most sincerely for the Jersey spoons that you presented to us. Be assured that they will serve as a constant reminder of Le Tournoi and of the splendid team that organises and hosts it with such consummate skill.

Good morning John

Just a quick note to thank you for inviting me to play in the Le Tournoi Golf Day. I think the event was a great success and I have heard nothing but praise from everybody I have spoken to. I think the organisation was first class and we at the Royal Jersey Golf Club are proud to be associated with your event.

I wish you every success for future years and I will be delighted to provide any help you might require from the Golf Club side of things.
