at-the-helm.jpgThe essence of Jersey is captured in the story
of Le Tournoi

By taking the best the island has to offer - the generosity of individuals and corporates alike, the competitive spirit that has seen it prosper over the centuries and its wonderful location - Le Tournoi has been able to offer innovative and fun challenges to many, and financial support to many more.

This is our eleventh year and we are going from strength to strength. Le Tournoi has become a strong local brand and one that we know is recognised for making a difference. We are totally not for profit, meaning every penny raised is either donated to charity and community initiatives or reinvested into our continued development.

We are committed to providing opportunities:

  • for people of all abilities to enjoy
  • for the many benefits of sponsorship
  • for team building challenges
  • to promote the Channel Islands in a positive light
  • to raise as much money as we can for charity

2013 will be our fourth Sailing Challenge and we are delighted with the response so far. This time, our route takes us from the Solent to Guernsey and Jersey. The Challenge is not just about sailing but to enjoy fantastic hospitality in each port of call. There really is no better way of strengthening your teams, developing your leaders and taking part in an event which is as unique as it is fun. We strive to design the Challenge to include a wide variety of sailing, from bay racing to a night crossing of the English Channel and they all count towards the overall standings.

We have partnered with one of the most prestigious corporate yachting entities in the UK. With Britannia Corporate Events, we can guarantee the very best in yachts and race organisation and management.

We have assembled a truly formidable team which demonstrates our commitment to quality, safety, and the provision of one of the most novel and exciting sailing events in the calendar. All competitors will be racing on Beneteau 40.7s, one of the most popular and successful yachts ever built.

We are also delighted to be hosting the EUROSAF Beneteau 40.7 2013 European Championships as an integral part of the Challenge, further demonstrating our ambition to bring all entrants the very best experience possible.

Yachts, legs and crews: what are the options?
