Geoff Holt MBE Becomes a Patron of the Sailing Challenge

We are thrilled that UK Yachtsman of the Year, Geoff Holt MBE, accepted our invitation to become a Patron of our Sailing Challenge. Geoff is one of the most inspirational people we have met - a swimming accident at just 18 years old left him quadriplegic but following years of rehabilitation and soul searching, got back into sailing and is now one of the UK's biggest supporters of disability sailing.

Geoff helped to set up Sailability, a charity which provides opportunities to disabled people to try sailing and get the chance to get out on the water. We will be exploring many opportunities to boost opportunities for Channel Islands disabled sailing, and look forward to welcoming Geoff to Jersey in 2012.
